About Tahiti
The islands were first settled by migrating Polynesians as early as 500 BC. Tahiti and her islands have been a unique mission field for more than 225 years. The smaller islands remain in spiritual infancy and many of those locations have not heard a clear gospel in generations. GOD has sent us to the uttermost part of the earth to share HIS light and HIS Son. Our task is two-fold: motivation of people to study GOD WORD and set people on the path to follow Christ.
Tahiti, located in the heart of the South Pacific is famous for its mesmerizing beauty and lush vibrant mountain peaks. Inhabitants of the Society Islands includes fabulous Bora Bora, Moorea and Raiatea. About 1.4 million to 870,000 years ago, the island of Tahiti was formed as a volcanic shield.
GOD of Great Wonders has been graced to equip pastors and churches in Tahiti to fulfill the Great Commission of Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ through education and e-learning. GGW pronounce a blessing upon Tahiti and French Polynesia and make a mark and leave a footprint in the sand of time.
The Mission
God of Great Wonders TAHITI is organized to assist the beautiful people of French Polynesia and her many islands in the Great Commission of our Lord, King and Saviour JESUS CHRIST through e-learning and education.
Our Annual Festival - "Fa 'Aitoito Children Fun Day"
Honoring the Tahitian villages, our ministry provides bi-annually festival during Wet Season and Dry Season. Shoebox gifts to put a smile on their faces are a part of the day. Children who participate in this program learn how to follow Christ and share HIM with others.
